I believe that guitar, flutes, keyboards are instruments which serve to composer's ability to express his ideas and vision about this and other worlds, life and death, inner and outer realities and consciousness.
Therefore labels, schools, methods, positions, classifications are secondary things and should not became a purpose and meaning of Art (music).
I believe that music is the language of the soul which speaks directly to the consciousness of any person regardless of someone nationality, culture and religion.
I believe that music for guitar should develop together with time and new technical possibilities
I deeply respect and feel grateful to all of great Guitarists and guitar composers of the Past & Present times like Francisco Tárrega, Andrés Segovia, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Manuel M. Ponce, Leo Brouwer and hundreds more.
But I think that now many of Educational institutions (Universities, Conservatories etc.) create musical robots or musical athletes, (not masters-creators-communicators) who sometimes are able to move their fingers fast but normally do not express anything, but endless repetition of something which was done before them and imposed to them by somebody else. Therefore the whole western (traditional) system of music education must change to serve for development of creativity and freedom of artist.
I believe that a guitarist (whatever name somebody will use to classify him "classical","fingerstyle", "new age" etc) should develop new techniques and use all 5 fingers on the both right and left hands to make music, to express his ideas and images.
I believe that the "Right" "Classical guitarist" position is a thing of the past.
Instead there should be
many positions which a guitarist should be able to change from time to
time in such way that his back will not freeze in a certain way and
then you'll be suffering from back pain.
To achieve anything in your guitar playing one must spend many hours playing every day. To do so in only one position is almost a guarantee of back problems and pain after a few years.
I believe that the guitar must develop more to became more convenient and ergonomic, it must follow your body and not the other way. Luthiers should develop a new guitar
I believe that the number of strings and guitar tuning could change to create new colors and possibilities
